About the conference
Dear colleagues and friends,
the Organizing Committee is pleased to invite you to participate in the 54th conference SYNTHESIS AND ANALYSIS OF DRUGS (SAL 2026) that will take place in Bratislava (Slovak Republic) as an onsite event from September 17 to 18, 2026.
Synthesis and Analysis of Drugs (Syntéza a analýza liečiv) is an annual conference held alternately in the Czech and in the Slovak Republic as a meeting place and forum for specialists and PhD students from Central Europe and beyond. It has a long tradition dating back to 1971.
The conference covers all aspects of pharmaceutical chemistry and analysis, including adjoining fields such as pharmacology, biochemistry and molecular biology, bioorganic / bioinorganic chemistry, and related disciplines.
The conference will be organized under the auspices and on the premises of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Comenius University in Bratislava.
Contributions to the conference (lectures and posters) should preferably be delivered in English.
There will be a possibility to publish articles based on conference contributions in a special issue of an international scientific journal.
Further information will be available in the early months of the forthcoming year.

Programme
Oral lectures
Regular oral presentations will last approximately 15 minutes (plenary lectures 40 minutes), including 5 minutes for discussion. Please make sure to leave enough time for the discussion. Presentation should be prepared as PowerPoint files (.ppt/.pptx) or, if necessary, in other common presentation formats. Speakers will be asked to submit their presentations before the session start.
Posters
Authors presenting a poster should note that provided poster boards‘ size is A0 (approx. 90 cm x 120 cm), portrait orientation. Material and instructions for setting up the posters will be provided by organizers upon the registration. Presenting authors of the posters are invited to be available in front of their posters for questions during the poster session.

Registration
The registration fee covers the conference materials, admission to all scientific sessions, welcome evening, and coffee breaks. The admission of undergraduate students to all lectures is free.
Conference fee – means of payment (bank transfer)

For all payments it is necessary to use the variable symbol: 1718926. Please be sure to include your name in the “Note for payment”. Otherwise, we may have difficulties to properly assigning the payment to the conference attendant.
Cancellation policy:
All cancellations must come in written form physically or electronically. For cancellations received by August 15, 2026, the full amount of the conference fee minus administration costs will be refunded. The refunds will be made after the conference. For cancellations received after August 15, 2026, no refunds can be made.
Liability & Insurance
Neither the Organisers nor the Organizing Committee will assume any responsibility whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or property during the conference. It is thus recommended that participants arrange their own personal travel, health and liability insurance.

Abstracts
The authors of conference presentations or posters are kindly requested to submit a research abstract pertaining to their contribution. The required form of abstract is provided in a template. Conference abstracts will be published in European Pharmaceutical Journal. Details will be announced later.
